So what makes a person spend the time and money to take Private Lessons? Well, there are many reasons why people go the extra distance to get personalized Private Lessons.

 

Some of the many reasons are:

¨ Details of the dance can be better shown in a Private Lesson than in a Group Class.

¨ Individuals want one on one attention for accelerated learning.

¨ Some people want to learn a dance in a private setting before hitting the social dance floor.

¨ Someone who wants to learn dance with their significant other for their Wedding, Prom, Reunion, Cruise, or Holiday Party.

¨ One might have a difficult time understanding certain concepts or elements of a dance.

¨ A person might have physical limitations that being in a group class might increase the chances of that individual to possibly get hurt or farther injured.

¨ One might want to learn what the regular group lessons can not give.

¨ A person that is competing will need the extra fine tuning to help prepare for the competitions.

 

         Ultimately, the student will learn many times faster in a one on one private lesson than in a group environment. The reason simply is that the student has the teacher’s attention the whole way through the lesson.
